Camps and Tours

Wild-CER organize the camps in and around the protected areas to increase the awareness regarding environmental issues. Camps have been organized to inform the villages regarding “Importance of Vulture Conservation in and around the Pench Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra.”

Educating people regarding the importance of wildlife and its conservation helps to increase their involvement in the conservation issues. No conservation movement can succeed without the participition of the local people around the protected areas.

Wild-CER has organized camps and Survey for ‘Use of Diclofenac in livestock’. Diclofenac is a pain killer drug which was extensively used in the livestock as analgesic, antiinflammatory and antipyretic. Survey helped us to realize that even after the ban by the Government of India, the painkiller was being used illegally by the practitioner in rural part.
