Leopard rescue and management training program

Wild-CER in collaboration with Maharashtra State Forest Department and Wild-SOS, organized 3 day training program for veterinarians.

In order to train the veterinarians for emergency cases of wild animals, we have built up a program called “Vets for Wild”. Through this program, we are trying to give professional training, related to rescue of wild animals, to the veterinarians.

This training program include 3 day training, which include lectures on “Introduction to leopard anatomy, physiology, biology”, “Introduction to leopard conflict issues”, “Restraining leopard – a brief introduction”, “Handling and management of the leopards”.

Vulture Conservation at Pench Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra
